The structural rigid polyurethane, is a polimeric and bi-component material that results from a chemical reaction of two substances: polyol and isocyanate.
Mixed in a special machine, they produce a special foam that becomes solid when cooled.
The time of hardening can vary according to dimensions, density, thickness etc…
The material used by Gamma Poliuretani is Baydur®, a thermosetting polymer created and distributed by Bayer.
Typology produced:
- Structural rigid polyurethane at medium
density with a specific weight of 600 kg/mc
- Structural rigid polyurethane at high
density with a specific weight of 1000 kg/mc
